Publishing My First Book: Karen Harper
Actually, I've been published consistently since 1982, so my first-time experience is quite different from that of most people today. Except, let me say, I did manage to get an agent first who sold my book, a historical romance. It has never been...

Meet The Author: Karina Kantas
After reading S.E.Hinton’s OUTSIDERS, I knew I wanted to become a published writer. I finally got my wish in 2005 when I had a film review published. Since then, I have had more than thirty pieces published, including, articles, film reviews, book...

Publishing My First Book: John Addiego
I am one of those people who crawls out of bed every morning at five to write before reporting to the paid work that supports a family. I've done it for decades, and I know there are thousands of others doing this, my waking sisters and brothers in...

Meet The Author: Cheryl Kaye Tardif
I've always been a dreamer, and I've always believed in dreaming BIG. Ever since I was a young girl, my goal was to become the next Stephen King―or 'Stephanie', at least. It's been a long, hard journey, but one well worth it, and now I am...

I've always written. I believe I was born with a pencil in my hand. I remember my grandpa making me create all those little circles consistently while seated at the kitchen table.
Inside my soul was definitely a book! Flash forward many...

The Story of Stuff
Every so often I tout the importance of space clearing in order to open ourselves up to new things. The inherent problem in space clearing, of course, is that it suggests we are buying, owning, acquiring things we may not really need to begin with. I'm the worst example, I'm definitely addicted to consumption. (Picture me with cartoon-like rotating eyes say "I must have things. More things!).
At any rate, as our society continues to have conversations about "greener" living, no matter where you stand on the issue, it is good to arm yourself with as much information as you can. Along your path to education, you may want to watch the 20-minute video "The Story of Stuff." If you've ever wondered where your things come from, this video gives you a great overview on how products are made and distributed.
